Best main dishes and friendly service! Come again.
This place is amazing! The staff Brendan served us this evg. He was excellent and attentive! The food as per usual..( I have been here now 4 times) it never fails. Delicious and nutritious! For this sweet gem in Toronto's east end -- so grateful! -- Andreia
Absolutely love this place! Fantastic, authentic, delicious Vietnamese food at a great price - and their lemongrass mussels are hands-down the best mussel dish I've ever had, and I've had a lot of them :-). Terrific friendly service - it's a small place and fills up fast at dinner time, but we've always loved every meal we've had there. They were also terrific when we asked about our peanut-allergic daughter, explaining that peanuts are stored separately and only added directly to the dish they're required in, therefore very little chance of cross-contamination - not a big deal for most, but very important if you have an allergy. Would recommend to anyone looking for some good food, and particularly if you love mussels!
Food was okay but the sauce for vermicelli was too bland. One of the waiter was too good & quite accommodating but our bad luck we got him after we ordered our food. Don’t forget to try their coffee with sweetened condensed milk which was amazing.
Their veggie pho was great and there were lots of veggies. Would definitely go back.
Excellent Pho, excellent price.
Best pho in the city. They could work on decor but otherwise no complaints.
Consistently good and affordable. Have been going for years. Once I had a meal and forgot my wallet. Owner said no problem, pay when you can...Good place.
Best vietnamese soups in the city. The pho is always good but their house specials are amazing. Great seafood selection.
This restaurant is small and cozy. Fantastic service, no long wait. Food is amazing. If you are ever around Broadview and Gerrard stop by, fill your tummy with Vietnamese delight.
Small cozy place, excellent food!
Pho is the best
Excellent Pho in the East end, they have a couple of locations, all of them great service, great food. Limited menu means they concentrate on making the best of the best. A must visit in the area, one of the better Vietnamese Pho in Toronto.
There are several locations but I like the one in Old Chinatown (Broadview and Gerrard). They have a variety of the standard Vietnamese dishes. Coffee with condensed milk over ice for the warm days, Pho Tai (noodle soup with thinly sliced raw beef) for the cold ones. What makes this little Northern Vietnamese restaurant’s so special is the signature dish, grouper vermicelli. I am not a big fish eater, typically I prefer to order meat dishes, but this fish is magical. The grouper is lightly dusted with flour, dill and curry (I think) and then fried so the edges are crispy. This is served on a bed of vermicelli noodles, shredded lettuce, cilantro and peanuts. You can add sauce or just eat it the way it is. I <3 this fish! I have also tried the grouper as a soup and it is equally good. Other standout dishes for me are the beef sate with basil and mint and calamari patties.
Great food, the serving was huge and came with a lot of bean sprouts and meat, unlike some other places where they simply fill a bowl with mostly soup.Service was great, was a bit slow for them to prepare my food but it wasn't a major downside. They offered a choice between water and tea while I waited; the tea was excellent.Atmosphere was pretty comfy, not too busy when I went.
Great Pho
Great Northern Vietnamese restaurant with an open style kitchen so you can really see them cook the meals if you're close enough. It smells great in here but kind of sticks to your clothes. Menu is a good amount of selection but prices are a little higher than your usual Vietnamese restaurants. I ordered the Hanoi-style grouper fillet with dill and shrimp paste and served with vermicelli. Very generous with the fillets and flavoured pretty well. Would've wanted more shrimp paste for a little bit of oomph. Service is quick and very efficient. Great place to go to when you need a quick and delicious meal
I would 100% go back there for the Phõ, it was delicious. The base broth was soft and flavourful, and the overall meal was incredibly satisfying. Clean place, nice staff, and good food.
Fantastic Vietnamese food. Better than on my recent trip to Vietnam. Excellent service. Super attentive and accommodating after we screwed up our order and the food was already cooked. Changed out for shrimp no problem. It was so good we went back the very next night with another group of friends. The head waiter even remembered we liked their mango candies and brought some with the bill. I will be back again and again. Order the number 10, 13 or shrimp and lemon grass vermicelli.
A bit different from many other Vietnamese restaurants in the city. This seems to be more of the Northern Vietnam style. The pho broth is nice and light. The rice dishes have great flavours, but the portions are just ok. The prices are generally higher than other Vietnamese places and I wouldn't say that it's worth the extra money that I'm paying. This place is definitely worth a try though. I'd still rather go to many of the other Vietnamese places in the city.
Ordered through door dash.2 pho dac bietGot a red broth...kinda like bun bo hueDidnt taste bad but wasnt what i expected when i order dac biet.Too hungry to call and complain just ate it.
Great food, friendly service, good portion sizes and prices. And the best spring rolls I've had!
Great food and nice service. :)
My husband and I frequent this spot when he works late in the east end. It’s wonderful, food is always hot and flavourful. Service is good too, though the menu has been the same for quite some time.
Pho was excellent!
great restaurant nice food and good service, i was just walking by and was hungry and i think it will be nice to try a new place, i wasn't disappointing. great service. thank you
Great pho at a good price.
Tasty pho and ginger chicken dish.
Great broth and good beef, one of the best in Toronto
Amazing meal. The noodles seem super fresh and the meat was good quality. Came for lunch. Was busy with many locals.
Like many, we popped in here out of curiosity one day and were absolutely delighted by the food we had. We felt that there are more spices and fresh herbs used in the cooking than in typical Vietnamese restaurants. Our family regularly orders lemongrass chicken with vermicelli, basil beef with bok choy, and the seafood noodle dish with calamari and mussels. The soup is aromatic and the pho is cooked to perfection. They are a small restaurant with limited seating though, so you need to contact them if you have a larger group. We love the service and staff as well - really delightful place!
This small restaurant served very authentic food from the North of Viet Nam. Definitely come back
Very simple, clean broth. Not strong in flavor, doesn't stand out very much. But everything does feel very clean and well prepared. Would come again over others in the area.
Tasty pho soup (prefer this one over the Queen street location although it is still good).
Great food and cheap vine !
Excellent menu. I highly recommend the Lemongrass Chicken on vermicelli noodle. The pho is one of the best ive had in the city.
I had Pho Tai, it was amazing. The flavours were soooo good, just what I needed on a cold day! This place might just be my new favourite place for pho in Toronto. So good!
I always order the same two things: #28 (pork on vermicelli with spring roll) and #10 Cha Ca (fish on vermicelli) and I order it often -- it's simply delicious! I sometimes also order #3 (mini shrimp) -- also very good. The meat is tender and seasoned perfectly and the fish is done with a dill and shrimp paste. My family and I eat here around 3-4 times a month. Whenever it's "order in" night, we'll go pick up from Hanoi 3 Seasons. Highly recommended!
Very good pho with some other Hanoi specials, definitely different than most pho places in the city. It is unique and delicious, almost like a hidden gem on the east end.Service is great and price is good too, highly recommended!
Good food. Good portions too.
I’ve had a number of great, fresh tasting meals here. Staff have always been friendly and capable. They have many great smoothies using fresh fruit and for a reasonable price.I’m not sure if it has changed over the years, but it would be a place to revisit again when I am in the area.
We were eating our dinner, a severely average phô and spring roll order, and five minutes in the waitress brought us the bill. Then, before we’d finished eating and before the stared closing time on the door, the music was turned off. We asked and were informed that tonight they had closed early for cleaning and that we had to leave. Let them know we’d never encountered this in a restaurant and they didn’t care. Wow. Just. Wow. Don’t eat here. Trust us, just don’t.
The food was great! I had the seafood, tamarind and dill soup. This is a small restaurant, but you can tell every dish is made fresh. It is also easy to find parking on the street.
My favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Toronto! They are awesome not sure why the one star from both Ann's (shifty if you ask me)?? I've been to many places and these guys have the best beef broth in Toronto and no MSG. Also the ginger chicken and lemon grass coconut chicken with vermicelli noodles are to die for!! Last thing, Hanoi 3s is a chain each owned by a different family and these guys are the best! My Vietnamese friends tell me it tastes homemade and best they ever had. That's all I needed to hear! Don't miss out.
Bun bo hue was very water down.
Spring Rolls was sweet. Almost crepe-like. Lemon Grass chicken was meh, and so was the Seasoned Pork dish on rice. Portions are large though.
Food was ok but small by comparison to most pho places and not really exceptional. Service was Abysmal. Didn't offer tea or water. First and last time there.
The Phõ was delicious, very powerful broth full of flavor. Incredibly nice staff ready to help anytime.I will definitely go back 😊
Great food and nice service! Lots of meat in their house soup. Small restaurant, but a great place to have quick lunch.
Great broth, and generous helping of delicious meat. One of the best spots for pho I've found in Toronto
